Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026.

Who we are

QuickFire is run by Welshdag, based in Wales, United Kingdom. You can contact us at [email protected]. By using QuickFire you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy notice.

The service

QuickFire lets hosts build quizzes and run them as live games, with players joining on their own devices using a game PIN. It is an independent service and isn’t connected to any school, university or employer.

Price

QuickFire is free while it’s in beta. If we decide to charge for it in future, we will tell hosts first, and you will never be charged unless you choose to pay.

Hosts

You’re responsible for the quizzes you make and the games you run. Only upload text and images you have the right to use. Don’t put personal information about other people, or patient or client information, into a quiz. If you run games with children, follow your school’s or organisation’s safeguarding and data rules, ask players to use nicknames rather than full names, and remove any player whose nickname isn’t appropriate.

Players

Choose a nickname that’s kind and doesn’t give away personal details. The host can remove anyone from a game.

Fair use

Don’t use QuickFire to harass anyone or share anything unlawful, hateful or explicit. Don’t try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, guess other games’ PINs, or access other people’s data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

QuickFire is in beta, so features may change and the service may sometimes be unavailable, including during a game. If we ever have to close it, we will give hosts reasonable notice first so they can download their results.

Our responsibility to you

QuickFire is provided free while in beta. We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us not using reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time. “Delete my account” on your dashboard removes your account, quizzes, images and reports straight away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell hosts about any important change.

Contact and law
